Meet Sally, the Voice of Step Up

WP SallyonPhoneLargeCROPMeet Sally T., the voice of Step Up! When an individual calls Step Up at (310) 394-6889 for assistance of any kind, the person they often speak with is Sally T. A receptionist in the Vocational Training Program, Sally is a longtime Step Up participant who also has served on the Board of Directors. Sally credits Step Up with helping her find permanent housing over 20 years ago when she was about to be homeless and where she still resides today. At one point, when Sally was working in Fresh Start Market she wanted to connect more with others and do something increasingly productive. She reached out to the Step Up Vocational team and, with training, was employed in Reception. “I enjoy my job tremendously, and I hope to be working for as long as possible.”  We hope so too Sally!  Thank you and a salute to you, Sally!
