Kobe announces support for Step Up on Vine

Kobe announcing KVBFF support for SUOV.

Today, Kobe Bryant held a press conference at My Friend’s Place in Hollywood to announce the support of the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation for My Friend’s Place and Step Up on Vine. The press conference was very well attended by the press. Leslie M. from Daniel’s Place, and Wes G. from Member Services, joined us at the press conference in an opportunity to get up close to Kobe. Kobe talked about his commitment to addressing chronic homelessness, particularly youth homelessness, and his plan to continue to address this after he retires from basketball. At the press conference, Kobe specifically called out My Friend’s Place and Step Up on Vine. KVBFF has generously provided $360K in support to sponsor the eight TAY units at Step Up on Vine! We will be posting video soon – but it’s also likely to make the local news tonite! As Kobe said today — “This is only the beginning”!
