“Really Into It!” by Lucie Hinden

Lucie Hinden is a family member who well understands the mental health journey, and donates 100% of the proceeds of her art sales to benefit the work of Step Up serving individuals experiencing mental health issues! “During my son Danny’s illness, I felt despair and helplessness.”, says Lucie. “Donating my art work proceeds to Step Up, an organization whose task it is to help people on a daily basis, turns the past helplessness into present helpfulness. Creating art turns despair into joy.” The public is invited to a Special Reception,  March 19th 5pm-7pm, where three of Hinden’s original paintings will be on exhibit:

Hinden lives in Los Angeles and has been painting since 1998 and is a member of Women Painters West, California Art League, Jewish Artists Initiative, and Los Angeles Art Association. Step Up greatly appreciates the generosity of mental health advocate Lucie Hinden!
