Step Up’s Programs & Services in the Southeastern U.S.

The Step Up Pathways program is currently managing eight projects in the counties of metro Atlanta.

Since accepting our first referral in March 2019, our team has now moved 179 individuals out of homelessness into 89 housing units and has served a total of 302 persons. Our housed members had a combined 286 years of homelessness and all remain stably housed. The program now has access to 249 housing vouchers to move homeless persons in metro Atlanta into permanent supportive housing.

The program is currently staffed by the Step Up’s Vice President of Southeast Programs, three Program Managers, four Housing Specialists, four Case Managers, two Certified Peer Specialists, a Therapist and an Outreach Coordinator.

Warley Park consists of 81 apartments in two buildings and currently provides housing for 156 residents, 41 singles and 37 families including 70 children. There are 48 female headed households and 30 male headed households.

The Property Manager and the Community Officer and their families also live on site.

Step Up has started a Housing First team in Nashville, Tennessee. The team will assist the Nashville community to end homelessness by providing Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing services to chronically homeless persons.

Our Nashville team consists of a Program Manager, Housing Specialists, and Case Managers.
