Today on #NationalPhilanthropyDay, Step Up President and CEO Tod Lipka would like to take a moment to say thank you to all of our donors, volunteers, and partners as together we work to support those who are experiencing mental health conditions and chronic homelessness.

Following retirement, Tess Clair embarked on her second career (and first love), an active and diverse program of volunteerism. Tess has assisted with programs and events sponsored by Step Up at Building 209 on the West L.A.s Veterans Affairs Campus. Tess’s husband, John, served honorably in Vietnam so veteran concerns are of significant importance to her. She has been a sustaining donor to Step Up for many years. She also volunteers as an intake and triage specialist at The People Concern’s facility in Santa Monica & serves on the City of Santa Monica’s Taskforce Committee on Homelessness.

If you are interested in following in Tess’ footsteps and volunteering with Step Up, visit www.stepuponsecond.org and click on Volunteer!
